Note2: Critical notes to ensure EV Charger is installed correctly & warranty is not voided:

- The installer must be an experienced electrician who is familiar with the exact brand of EV charger, or if not, similar EV charger installs. Close examination of all install manuals is critical
- During the install, there is considerable time needed to ensure the programming is completed and accurate, wifi setting, configuration, energy meter comms etc. WARNING If this is not done correctly then the unit will not perform as required. READ ALL MANUALS.
- If the charger is being used in a private home environment, in the programming stage, remove the feature that locks the charger cable plug into the charger. 
- The customer must understand limitations on charge cables, vehicle charging, etc

This electric car charger can switch between 1 and 3-phase automatically and regulate its output in 1 ampere steps. This allows it to make optimal use of the surplus PV energy from 1.38 kW to 22 kW and use any surplus energy from your PV system to sustainably charge your vehicle at virtually no cost.

The Fronius Wattpilot offers two charging modes which can be selected directly on the electric car charger or via the Fronius Solar.wattpilot app:

Eco Mode- Is ideal for everyone who wants to benefit from very cheap charging using a combination of electricity from PV surplus and variable electricity tariffs.

Next Trip Mode- Is for those who want to charge their car to reliably cover a specific number of kilometres. If there is a PV system and surplus solar energy then this is used, or mains current which is charged at the cheapest times with variable electricity tariffs.

Security & control- You can create up to 10 user profiles per Fronius Wattpilot. Access to the Fronius Wattpilot can be secured via RFID chip or card and protects it against misuse, including in public spaces. Full integration- Attention PV system owners! The Fronius Wattpilot can be seamlessly integrated in the Fronius Solar.web app. This gives you an insight into all the components of your PV system at any time and allows you to control the use of all your self generated solar energy.
