Shipping policy

Order Processing & Lead Times:

SolarBox Australia will process and ship your order within 24 hours of receiving it. We stock a lot of the common products on our store, however it's not possible to stock everything. For product availability you can call us or email SolarBox directly on: sales@solarboxaustralia.au

Alternatively if there is a delay on your order or your item is out of stock you will be emailed directly to let you know. Some items will be ordered in for you, other items will be drop shipped directly to you from our suppliers. If items need to be ordered in, this can add an additional 2-4 business days onto the dispatch lead time.

Do you offer Click & Collect? If you are based in Victoria and would like the option of collecting your order from our Warehouse in Port Melbourne then this can be arranged by calling us on 03 8595 1960 in advance to discuss the arrangement prior to ordering or clicking the pick up button at checkout. Please note we will need a few hours notice to get your order ready for collection and we do not have a show room.

Please note: Large bulky orders that are over 20kg (Batteries, Inverters and solar panels) cannot be shipped to a PO Box address. If purchasing a bulky item we will require a Residential or Business address. Preferably the delivery location should have a forklift unloading ability (Eg. A business or transport depot). Otherwise small palletised orders can be hand unloaded, but the receiver will need to be present to assist the delivery driver with this. SolarBox Australia does not take any liability for delivery addresses that are incomplete, inaccurate or that do not have sufficient unloading capability. Additional fees may apply if delivery is not made successfully at first attempt.

Shipping lead times are an estimate only. It is recommended that you order the product in advance of when you require it in case of shipping delays. Most items are shipped from Melbourne, however some products may be drop shipped from Brisbane or Sydney depending on supplier stock availabilities, the brand of product you have purchased and where the items are being shipped too.

Please note: We do not offer International shipping. We ship Australia wide only.

- Standard shipping (QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, ACT, TAS): Approximately 2 to 6 business days

- Standard shipping (NT & WA): Approximately 3 to 10 business days

Couriers:

SolarBox has access various carriers, including but not limited to: Australia Post, Startrack, TNT, TFMXpress & Toll. If you have a preferred Courier please make a note in the order comment section before checking out. If you do select a PO Box delivery for smaller items then the default courier will be Australia Post.

Tracking:

You will automatically receive tracking updates from the Courier once your order has been dispatched. Please ensure that your contact details are correct during the checkout process.

Shipping Costs & Rules:

Here at SolarBox we offer free shipping on some products (excludes NT & WA). The price of shipping is based on the weight of the overall products and what state it is being shipped too. Some heavy or bulky items will accrue a freight charge to help offset the cost that we are charged by the freight companies.

Note: Some dangerous goods such as Lithium Batteries and bulky Solar Panels may include an extra freight charge regardless of their product weight. This will be calculated at checkout before your order is confirmed.

Shipping rates: (VIC)

- Orders that weigh under 32kg: Free Shipping

- Orders under $150: Will have a shipping charge of $10.

- Orders that weigh over 32kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $70.

- Orders that weigh over 50kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $120.

- Orders that weigh over 80kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $160.

- Orders that weigh over 120kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $200.

- Orders that weigh over 200kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $250.

- Orders that weigh over 250kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $300.

- Orders that weigh over 300kg: Will have to be shipped on a skid or pallet, with a shipping charge of $400.
