Victron VE.Direct TX digital output cable:

The VE.Direct TX digital output cable can be used in combination with the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers. The MPPT solar charge controller must have software version V1.15 or higher. An MPPT with an older version can be upgraded with VictronConnect. VictronConnect can both be used to upgrade the firmware and to configure the MPPT controller.

It supports the following applications:
- Solar lighting applications
- Virtual load output

Features:

Lighting Applications- The cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lighting when needed. Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost. Also, the availability of the lighting will increase, even in case of a partially charged battery in low sun. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of a MPPT charger with the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.

Virtual load output- The cable is designed for adding load output functionality to the larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a load output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of a MPPT charger with a battery protect or a solid state relay to switch a load on or off.

What is a warranty? A warranty is a voluntary promise offered by the person or business who sold the product or service to you. Once you buy the product or service, the promise becomes a right that can be enforced under the ACL. Warranties are separate from your automatic consumer guarantees. The consumer guarantees which apply regardless of any warranties suppliers sell or give to you, apply for a reasonable time depending on the nature of the goods or services. This means consumer guarantees may continue to apply after the time period for the warranty has expired.
